Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship features end-to-end - from design through production - with growing independence.
- Write production-grade Java on GCP and PCF; participate in design discussions and code reviews.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools (Copilot, Claude Code) as part of your day-to-day workflow.
- Own the quality of what you build - tests, monitoring, and post-release behavior.
- Collaborate with product, senior engineers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Grow technically - actively learn from senior engineers, code reviews, and production experience.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, or related field.
- Hands-on with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code in IDE workflows.
- Comfortable using AI for code suggestions, test generation, and troubleshooting - with ownership of correctness and quality.
- 6+ yrs: Java, Spring, and REST web services.
- 2+ yrs: Distributed or NoSQL DBs - PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Yugabyte.
- 2+ yrs: continuous build (Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git).
- 2+ yrs: cloud development on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- 1+ yr: event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or message queues) - preferred.
- 1+ yr: real-time data or streaming applications - preferred.
- Exposure to batch jobs / data pipelines (Spring Batch, PySpark) - nice to have.
- Agile + Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence).
- Delivers committed work reliably; flags blockers early.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
