Role Description
We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead program-level end-to-end test planning and execution across complex, distributed systems. This role owns QA strategy and delivery for high-impact initiatives, establishes and scales test automation, and drives non-production environment and test data readiness so teams can release confidently and on time.
What you have
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the program-level E2E testing approach, including scope, entry/exit criteria, risk-based design, orchestration, reporting, and remediation.
- Lead multi-application and partner integrations, coordinating dependencies, cross-domain scenarios, and release sign-offs.
- Establish dashboards and operating rhythms for preparation, execution, triage, and RCA.
- Build reliable and maintainable regression, smoke, and feature validation test suites.
- Embed automation in sprint workflows and mentor SDETs and QA engineers.
- Own readiness of non-production environments and test data for E2E scenarios.
- Drive triage and escalation using TEMS workflows to unblock testing.
- Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering leads to communicate status, risks, and decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 10+ years in Software QA Engineering with a strong record of delivering quality in complex programs.
- 7+ years leading E2E test programs across multiple applications and partners.
- 6+ years hands-on test automation for UI/API/service testing, including framework design and CI/CD integration.
- Experience defining and executing multi-year QA roadmaps and program-level test strategies.
- Proven collaboration with business and technology stakeholders with clear communication of risks, decisions, and sign-offs.
- Experience leading E2E QA and UAT coordinators, test environments, and test data pipelines.
- Ability to provide QA sign-off and RCA recommendations for implementations.
- Experience ensuring risk-based testing, agreed test approaches, high-quality deliverables, accurate reporting, and active risk/issue management.
- Ability to generate innovative QA solutions, improve audit compliance, organize/prioritize requirements, and optimize software testing and verification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in SAFe and Scrum.
- Test Automation and Process Optimization framework design and implementation.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams through complex and changing circumstances.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Splunk, Postman, and Mabl.
- Hands-on Java/Javascript/Selenium or BDD-driven automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of exploratory testing practices.
- Working knowledge of JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ, service virtualization, test data management, CI/CD, Lean DevOps, and financial/move money/payment/trading domain experience.
