Schwab Investment Platforms, Solutions, & Strategy (SIPPS) offers industry-leading wealth management investment products and solutions to retail and registered investment advisor clients. As a Senior Manager, Product Management - Core Investment Products & Asset Manager Relations, you will help shape the strategy, governance, onboarding, operational readiness, and lifecycle management of investment products offered through Schwab's mutual fund and investment product platforms.

In this role, you will partner across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Advisor Services, Investor Services, Retirement, Clearing, and external asset managers to solve complex business challenges, support scalable product growth, strengthen operational efficiency, and contribute to an industry-leading client experience. You will lead work tied to mutual funds, interval funds, institutional products, platform policies, service models, operational controls, pricing structures, capacity management, trade availability controls, and platform modernization. This role requires strong product management, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills to move strategic initiatives from concept through execution while balancing business needs, risk considerations, regulatory expectations, and the evolving needs of Schwab clients and partners.

What you have

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing complex initiatives in the financial services industry
  • Mutual Fund and ETF industry experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that require product management, project management, relationship building, and execution across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience negotiating, influencing, or partnering with internal and external parties to reach business outcomes
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving to evaluate complex issues, identify root causes, and drive practical solutions
  • Ability to connect detailed operational, product, or platform considerations to broader business goals and strategic priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly in speech, writing, and presentations
  • Ability to use data, insights, and business context to build recommendations, tell a clear story, and support decision-making
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, manage ambiguity, and drive progress with accountability and urgency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Active FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses
  • Prior experience in wealth management or asset management
  • Experience with Morningstar
  • Experience with investment product onboarding, platform governance, product lifecycle management, operational controls, or pricing strategy
  • Strong candidates will also have experience managing external partnerships or asset manager relationships
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and client-facing business partners
  • Ability to influence outcomes through sound judgment, professionalism, diplomacy, and business-focused decision-making
  • Demonstrated curiosity, resilience, and accountability when leading complex work through change

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
