Schwab Advisor Services, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology, and operational support to registered independent advisory firms (RIAs). In addition to custody services, Schwab Advisor Services provides practice management and consultative support to help independent advisors start, build, and grow their businesses.

The Advisor Services AI Solutions team is responsible and represents the AI voice and solution delivery in Advisor Services (AS) partnering with all our AS business units. We partner with many enterprises, including Schwab's Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Transformation team, to deliver what matters most in this transformative time. We are an integrated product team that is accelerating GenAI capabilities and Advisor Services use cases to transform how we work and capabilities we deliver. As the Senior Manager, Digital Product Management - AS AI Solutions member, you play an essential role in advancing our top AS use cases that rethink our outcomes and capabilities to transform how we work and deliver unmatched experiences to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to help shape Schwab's future with AI in our Advisor Service enterprise, create transformative solutions that serve over 16K advisors, reshape our internal work at scale, and grow your career in one of the most dynamic areas of technology today. Your work will focus on identifying and prioritizing top uses cases for AI Agentic opportunities and be accountable for execution to the finish line by working with many Schwab Enterprise stakeholders and leaders, following standard AI governance, as well as measuring the AS AI solutions using industry GenAI reporting and ROI metrics when the solutions are live in production.

What You'll do:

  • Collaboratively work and facilitate use case working sessions with AS senior leaders rethinking how capabilities are delivered in the Advisor Services enterprise mapping to our strategic objectives.
  • Collaboratively define the AS GenAI platform vision and roadmap for AS Service, AS Sales, AS Risk, and others based on business use case prioritization and scorecard evaluation.
  • Collaboratively be a strong partner at the hip with our Advisor Services Technology team on technical feasibility for our top priority use cases within the AS business.
  • Participate in model validation to ensure continued performance, regulatory alignment, and business value of AS AI tools.
  • Communicate key metrics and risk insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, highlighting trends, variance, and business impact.
  • Distill MVPs and iterative deliverables from long-term product visions and goals, focusing on risk and compliance transformation.
  • Champion the near-term product vision, ensuring alignment with Schwab's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Rigorously and dynamically prioritize the AS AI solutions product roadmap, ensuring the identified development team(s) is creating value with each iterative delivery.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7-10+ years of professional Software and/or Product development experience
  • 5+ years of direct product experience
  • 3+ years of experience working closely with software engineers
  • Demonstrable understanding of generative AI technology, architecture, and terminology including LLMs, RAG, system prompts, agentic, etc.
  • Experience using/building generative AI solutions, ideally in B2B applications and use cases.
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Ability to reason about systems, tradeoffs, and failure modes
  • Ability to break ambiguous problems into clear, testable components
  • Demonstrate judgment when balancing innovation vs. risk
  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-experts
  • Rapid self-learning in unfamiliar domains
  • History of picking up new tools, frameworks, or fields quickly
  • Curiosity and intellectual humility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, B.S. Computer Science and/or other field related to AI.
  • Professional experience in engineering, data science, advisor services business
  • Experience building Agentic workflows (e.g., with Copilot Studio, Vertex AI Agent builder etc.).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with financial services and the regulations that apply to the industry.
  • Strong business influence skills.
  • Ability to distill strategy, analytics and varied sets of input to drive decisions across stakeholder communities.
  • Building credibility with peers and key stakeholders (at all levels of the organization) to be able to drive action. Ability to develop multiple solutions to the same problem and identify the common failure modes associated with each.
  • Passion for identifying user pain points, generating ideas to relieve them, and acting swiftly to test potential solutions.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and desire to continually reevaluate existing products and processes.
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
  • Curiosity to continually learn and keep up to date with the latest GenAI capabilities.
  • A strong track record of performance.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
