In this role within the Access Risk & Controls organization, you will join the Directory Services Data Governance Team as a central point of contact for Schwab Cybersecurity Services and act as a resource for technology related to Active Directory and cloud identity directories. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to creating and maintaining monitoring, root cause analysis, and gap remediation.

Other successful qualities include: Resilient, self-starter, able to work with limited supervision, and able to work well with others in a team environment while coaching less-experienced team members. Excellent English verbal and written communications skills with the ability to partner and collaborate with other teams effectively across the enterprise.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of directories such as Active Directory, RadiantLogic, and Cloud (Azure Entra ID, GCP, AWS) directories
  • Basic understanding of service principals and secrets management
  • A drive to research problems and analyze data
  • The ability to manage team projects with other team members and participate in cross-functional projects
  • Translating high-level business objectives into technical requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Monitoring and documenting cybersecurity metrics and activities for portions of assigned systems and areas
  • Utilizing a risk-based approach to solving problems
  • Working with minimal supervision on new assignments
  • Explaining complicated information at a level appropriate to the audience
  • Translating complicated information and effectively communicating alternatives to consider
  • Experience in PowerShell or other scripting language(s) and/or automation technologies
  • Interacting with high-level individual contributors and managers
