Production Operations Developer
Pay range: USD $33.75 - $48.37 / Hour

Our Corporate Systems Operations Support Team within Corporate IT is seeking an entry-level Production Operations Developer who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow their technical skills while supporting critical internal platforms.
In this role, you'll partner with experienced engineers to help keep systems available, well-monitored, and continuously improving. When issues arise, the team focuses on restoring service quickly, learning from incidents, and strengthening reliability over time.

What You'll Do
- Support and troubleshoot production systems to maintain availability and performance
- Monitor systems and applications, responding to alerts and incidents
- Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews to improve system reliability
- Assist with system planning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance
- Contribute to automation for deployments, infrastructure, and monitoring
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational processes
- Collaborate with engineering, agile, and support partners to prioritize and complete work
- Participate in an on-call rotation with mentoring and escalation support

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for production incidents and daily batch and ETL processing
- Partner with technical and agile teams to prioritize backlog work and incidents
- Work alongside senior engineers to build team capabilities and operational capacity
- Automate deployment, infrastructure, and monitoring tools and processes
- Enhance, maintain, and support platforms across Linux and Windows environments
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities
- Improve documentation, diagrams, processes, and supporting technologies
- Identify opportunities to enhance telemetry, monitoring, and application reliability
- Participate in root cause analysis and develop remediation plans
- Drive issue resolution and communicate updates to stakeholders as needed
- Perform on-call support responsibilities as scheduled
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- 0-2 years of experience supporting or working with production or enterprise technology environments
- Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow structured problem-solving approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to enterprise batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M)
- Familiarity with incident or service management tools (e.g., Remedy, SmartIT)
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to scripting language(s) such as Shell scripts, Python, Powershell, etc.
- Familiarity with compliance or legal technology environments
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code with Copilot AI , Github, Github actions
