2 days ago Austin, TX

Pay range: USD $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 / Year

Your opportunity

Charles Schwab Trust Bank delivers trust, custody and administrative services for retirement plans with a focus on solutions for Recordkeepers, Third-Party Administrators and Advisors. The CSTB Digital Platform team manages development and support for both vendor and internally developed applications to drive operational efficiency, scalability and outstanding client experience.

As a Product Manager on the CSTB Digital Platform team, you will lead the delivery of a high-visibility initiative focused on expanding trust platform capabilities to support growth and scalability. This role requires close partnership with business, technology, and vendor teams, and the ability to move seamlessly between deep technical analysis and clear, executive-level communication.

You will own projects end-to-end; defining and implementing scalable processes at Charles Schwab Trust Bank, while translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements that drive efficient development and long-term operational scalability. Success in this role depends on your ability to context-switch between technology, operations, and service partners, maintain clear and consistent documentation, and drive informed decision-making.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst, strong preference for those with ownership of bulk operations in a business-to-business environment, account opening, or retirement services
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and documentation that enable teams to move quickly
  • Ability to tailor communications to different audiences: comfortably switch between delivering technical requirements to providing messaging appropriate for executive business leaders
  • Embody Schwab's 'through the client's eyes' mindset in all interactions and decisions
  • Balance of interpersonal, influencing skills with analytical, problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Comfortable reading and reviewing API specifications
  • Prior recordkeeper and/or recordkeeping system experience that would improve understanding of our clients and enable better decision making when projects involve integrations with recordkeeping software used by our clients
