Pay range: USD $163,550.00 - $183,100.00 / Year

Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and build interfaces between legacy and modern distributed applications. Contribute to the design and implementation of modernization strategies for legacy applications, including mainframe migration and refactoring, mainframe callouts to Distributed platforms. Evaluate existing legacy systems and propose solutions for improving performance, scalability, and maintainability. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to legacy application modernization. Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders, platform teams, Architects and globally distributed crossdomain teams. Work as part of a technical team, providing support and sharing knowledge with peers. Adhere to project timelines and delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 72 months of experience involving the following: IBM Mainframe; COBOL, JCL, DB2, Datacom, MQs, CICS, QMF, EasyTrieve, and Stored Procedures; File transfers technologies, including NAS, SPOS, SFTP, and handling DTCC files; Mainframe Tools, Changeman, BlueZone, Xpeditor, Start-Tool, and OnDemand; Agile (Scrum & Kanban) methodologies; and Jira, Control-M, Remedy, Redbutton, Toad, GCP, Visual Studio, GitHub, CoPilot, Harness for CI/CD, and Salt script.
