As part of STS University in India, the Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling learning experiences that enable technical talent, accelerate onboarding, and build future-ready capabilities across technology services.This role is embedded within a globally distributed learning model (U.S.-India) and requires the ability to design culturally relevant, scalable, and high-impact learning experiences that align to strategic priorities such as AI fluency, engineering excellence, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop learning content using structured outlines, storyboards, and prototypes to create clear and engaging learning experiences.
- Develop end-to-end training modules and videos from storyboard through production, ensuring alignment to learning objectives and learner needs.
- Create multi-modal learning solutions (eLearning, instructor-led sessions, video, job aids, blended programs) to support STS University initiatives.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to drive engagement, retention, and practical application.
- Ensure content meets accessibility and inclusive design standards.
- Tailor learning content for India-based talent while ensuring alignment to global STS standards and practices.

- Partner effectively across U.S. and India stakeholders, adapting communication styles and delivery approaches for diverse audiences.
- Design learning solutions that support high-growth talent pipelines in India, including onboarding, early career development, and technical upskilling.
- Incorporate cultural awareness and localization into learning design to maximize relevance and engagement.
- Facilitate content discovery sessions and convert complex technical topics into learner-friendly experiences.
- Define learning success metrics and evaluate program effectiveness through data, feedback, and performance outcomes.
- Leverage insights and analytics to continuously refine learning solutions.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design.
- Demonstrated ability to create storyboard-based training modules and video content.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar video authoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data tools (Power BI, Tableau) for learning insights.
- Experience working in India-based delivery centers or global capability centers (GCCs).
- Exposure to content strategy, learning marketing, or learner engagement and evaluation techniques.
