This Sr Specialist - Software Development & Engineering role is a full-stack individual contributor position responsible for building end-to-end solutions across user interfaces, backend services, frontend, data layers, and deployment pipelines. You will work on enterprise-scale platforms that require high availability, strong security controls, and seamless user experiences.

Above all else, you are an engineer-curious, pragmatic, and passionate about delivering well-designed, maintainable software. You thrive in Agile environments and enjoy collaborating across products, architecture, and operations to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on software development experience delivering full-stack solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and/or C#/.NET for backend development, including REST API design.
  • Experience building modern front-end applications using Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience using Git-based source control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, Harness, or similar).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong grasp of secure coding practices and familiarity with application security concepts and tools (SAST/DAST/SCA).
  • Ability to independently plan work, meet commitments, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with message-based or event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with containerization using cloud native technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Financial services or other regulated-industry experience.
  • Experience with coding design patterns, SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge about 12 factor applications methodology.
  • Prior experience mentoring engineers or influencing technical direction on a team.
