Position Summary
The Student Success Technician provides support and assistance to students to enhance their academic success and overall well-being. You will collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to identify and address individual student needs. The technician position includes monitoring student progress, organizing workshops or events, and promoting student engagement and involvement in school activities. The Student Success Technician plays a crucial role in promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Refer individuals to the appropriate CNM resources and provide explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs
- Deliver information through telephone, in person, and online.
- Perform general office responsibilities, including data entry and retrieval, manual and electronic processing, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, and OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.
- Provide guidance to students by referring them to appropriate resources within CNM.
- Offer explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs through several communication channels, including telephone, in-person interactions, and online platforms.
- Perform a variety of general office responsibilities such as data entry, retrieval, manual and electronic processing, and answering telephones.
- Perform other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND Two (2) years of experience
- Experience as a student employee is considered
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements of the position
Preferences:
- Experience in Enrollment Services

- Technological proficiency to navigate student information systems, online learning platforms, and communication tools effectively
- Adaptability to respond to changing student needs, institutional priorities, and latest trends in student success programming
