Position Summary
The Integration Engineer develops and implements solutions integrating applications across the enterprise and within the technology ecosystem. The Integration Engineer evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational and technology needs and requirements. As technology develops and the organization implements various systems, especially at different times, the result can be that information and data systems are not synchronized with one another. This makes business operations inefficient, as well as greatly increases the chance of experiencing performance issues and security incidents with regard to sensitive and proprietary information. The Integration Engineer oversees the interoperability between applications, platforms, and systems; they are responsible for bridging the gaps that were created as a result of technological developments that occurred over time, the on-going integration needs of the organization, and the implementation of new systems and platforms into the organization technical ecosystem.
