Client Value Partner (CVP) - Financial Services Industry

1 month ago New York, NY

We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Intelligence technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock productivity by placing AI, data and intelligence at the core of business processes - and for that, we need your help. Care to join us?

The Role:

We are looking for a Client Value Partner, Banking & Capital Markets—a seasoned industry executive who can bridge the gap between institutional strategy and complex technical execution. You will act as the primary accountable lead for one of our most strategic Global Banking accounts, translating C-level vision into realized P&L impact.

As a Partner, you are a "go-to" strategic advisor within our FSI go-to-market organization. You will move beyond standard client success to link Celonis capabilities to key outcomes specific to Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Asset Management.

You will work in partnership with the Celonis Sales Teams and have full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of this top-tier financial institution. You are the client’s trusted advisor, helping them mobilize resources, achieve their strategic goals, and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

In collaboration with our partners, Product, and Engineering teams, you will drive measurable business impact across complex regulatory and operational landscapes. You will blend deep Capital Markets expertise with a proven strategy consulting skill set to spearhead data-driven transformation at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing tech companies worldwide.

The work you’ll do:

Identify & Frame Value

  • Translate Strategy to Operations: Analyze the bank’s strategic goals (e.g., Operational Resilience, T+1 Settlement Readiness, Capital Efficiency) and map them to a long-term vision utilizing the Celonis platform.
  • Target High-Impact Areas: Architect the "Office of the CFO/COO" agenda—optimizing end-to-end value chains such as the Trade Lifecycle (Front-to-Back), Institutional Client Onboarding, and Inter-company Reconciliations.
  • Build the Business Case: Construct robust, board-level business cases that articulate the financial impact of Process Intelligence (e.g., impact on Cost-to-Income Ratios, Intraday Liquidity, or RWA optimization) to C-Suite executives.
  • Build demos and strategic roadmaps, leveraging industry benchmarks to embed Celonis as a core pillar of the client's operational strategy.
  • Undertake Value Assessments and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

Realize Value

  • Drive Engagement Success: Lead the executive relationship and value workstream for large-scale transformations, ensuring the program effectively delivers on its "digital twin" promise across siloed divisions.
  • Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Guide the client on organization design and the maturation of Centers of Excellence (CoE), mobilizing global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery across regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC).
  • Solve Systemic Challenges: Work cross-functionally to tackle difficult implementation hurdles, helping the client define standards for Straight-Through Processing (STP), Exception Management, and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement in Middle and Back Office functions.
  • Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.

Scale Value

  • Codify Best Practices: Turn client successes into reusable assets, playbooks, and thought leadership for the broader Capital Markets practice.
  • Mentor & Enable: Act as a senior leader for the team, coaching junior members on executive relationship management, complex financial instruments, and high-performance team dynamics.
  • Product Feedback: Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" to our Product teams, ensuring our development roadmap aligns with the specific security and scale needs of a G-SIB.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, landing, expanding, adoption and renewing.
  • Build a strategic expansion roadmap for the customer, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization.
  • Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.
