What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in building, implementing, and executing both internal and external integrations in/out of an Oracle Fusion platform, using best practice integration and implementation methods. Will partner with our Systems integrator, other technology teams and internal SMEs to help design, build, and scale our new platform that integrates with multiple external systems.
- Deep and thorough understanding of Cloud architecture integrations and legacy third party systems and will be the point of contact for all integration related tasks.
- Design and develop complex integrations, using a simplistic and methodical approach, which can be easily changed/added to for future business growth.
- Work with fellow CarMax associates to understand the real-life process and data challenges and discover what they need to create a seamless customer experience and an efficient associate experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues in product design, product management, systems architecture, and various operational and technical teams to develop solutions and bring great ideas to life.
- Market your innovative ideas internally and evolve them according to feedback and critique within an agile environment.
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practice to continuously improve what we do and ensure our customer and associate experience is the best it can be.
- Building complex integrations with a simple, methodical approach. Building foundational low maintenance integrations, which require minimal changes to support future growth.

Qualifications and Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required and 7+ years of relevant work experience or
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required and 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with integration of Oracle SaaS applications, primarily Supply Chain Management (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality Management), Procurement, financials, and inventory management.
- Extensive experience building UI's within Oracle via VBCS.
- Expertise in building integrations using Oracle middleware platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), FBDI, Oracle DI etc.
- Experience in building integrations utilizing Oracle Autonomous transaction processing (ATP), Autonomous database
- Design, development, and deployment of Integration solutions in a cloud environment
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Cloud ERP, or other Oracle Fusion Implementations
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on experience managing PaaS/SaaS integration tool suites and Oracle cloud capabilities (ATPDB, OIC, Agents)
- Experience with REST, SOAP API, web microservices, and event-driven architecture technology
- SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systems
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform utilizing modern microservices and serverless approaches is a highly desirable.
- Experience with integrating to various Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms
- Experience with DevOps practices

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the
Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center OR Dallas, TX Technology Hub and have a Hybrid work arrangement.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will not be considered for this specific role.
