This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution and Logistic Specialist is responsible for supply planning and for monitoring inbound and outbound flows for plants and storage facilities located in the Greater West region. He/She is accountable for the execution of commercial contracts, organizes and carries out transportation operations, and adjusts loading and unloading schedules in line with the needs and constraints shared by the planning team.

In this role, you will interact with partners, collaborate with various Cargill departments, manage data, produce reports and analyses, optimize costs, and manage projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the proper execution of raw material contracts and the supply of our crushing plants.
  • Execute domestic transportation and source truck freight within France.
  • Analyze and forecast transportation costs.
  • Update data in SAP, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Evaluate, select, and maintain ongoing relationships with our partners.
  • Use in‑depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics sector to make recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
