Supply and Inventory Planner

Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply and Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating long term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards.

Key Accountabilities
- Monitor glycerin inventory across the network and proactively manage risks such as plant disruption from high inventory or quality and production impacts from low inventory.
- Develop and execute short-term supply, requirements, and inventory plans that balance production, inbound supply, and customer demand.
- Identify supply and demand imbalances early and lead gap coverage actions, including reallocation, production adjustments, and logistics prioritization.
- Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master, and location data.
- Coordinate closely with plant operations, transportation, and customer teams to resolve constraints and maintain service levels.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience with at least one in supply and inventory planning
- Familiarity with MS Excel.
