Job Purpose and Impact
- The Software Engineer- SAP CALM will oversee the delivery and management of SAP Solution Manager and Change Request Management processes, ensuring effective performance of internal and external service providers. This role involves building partnerships with business units and continuously improving IT services. A deep understanding of SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including SOLdoc and Business Process Monitoring (BpMOn), is essential to support business requirements and enhance IT service delivery.
Key Accountabilities
- MANAGE SAP Cloud ALM and BTP CALM tools for lifecycle management across hybrid/cloud landscapes.
- CONFIGURE monitoring, alerting, test automation, and release pipelines using SAP Cloud ALM, CI/CD, and GitHub.
- DEVELOP AND INTEGRATE with tools like Solman, Jira, Postman, and SAP BTP services (e.g., BAS, CAP).
- LEVERAGE APIs, SAP Event Mesh, and Fiori apps for proactive operations and service delivery.
- OPTIMIZE system health, deployment tracking, and analytics through ALM reporting dashboards
- PROVIDE guidance and support to ensure SAP Solution Manager and CHARM operations with internal and external service providers are delivered against targets and contractual obligations.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of SOLMAN and CHARM processes, including SOLdoc and BpMOn functionalities, with internal and supplier teams.
- Develop and recommend improvements to standard and moderately complex SOLMAN and CHARM processes and procedures.
- Review, analyze, and prioritize change request deliverables using tools like SAP Solution Manager, Remedy, and Power BI.
- ACT as the primary owner of the engagement with suppliers providing SAP Solution Manager and CHARM services.

Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with SAP Solman, CALM, SOLDoc, BPmon, and/or SAP Basis
Short Description
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
The expected salary for this position is $76,000 - $120,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
