Site Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose and Impact

The Site Supply Chain Manager will lead all supply, production, and raw material planning activities for the sites and network within scope. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end planning execution, ensuring supply continuity, cost discipline, and optimal inventory management while acting as a key business partner within the site leadership team. You will lead a team responsible for integrated business planning performance, cost optimization, and cross-functional coordination to deliver service, efficiency, and financial targets.

Location: Hull, UK (HU6 7PH)

Key Accountabilities

  • Using substantial knowledge and robust experience, define inventory strategy and segmentation, incorporating other relevant strategies.
  • Prepare the supply and inventory planning inputs for capacity scenarios and recommendations.
  • Review and publish supply and inventory planning metrics targets.
  • Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive end-to-end site planning and execution, including production planning (PP), MRP execution, and order fulfillment, while coordinating cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure service level (OTIF), inventory, and cost targets are achieved and site escalations are resolved.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain field


Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning and execution, preferably in production or raw material planning
  • Experience in Chemical industry or similar process manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in driving cost discipline, productivity, and budget ownership within planning and scheduling
  • Strong track record in network supply coordination and inventory optimization
  • Experience managing planning KPIs (OTIF/service level, inventory, forecast accuracy, cost reduction initiatives)
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching and team development
  • Strong business acumen and ability to act as a supply chain business partner within site leadership teams
