Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Professional, Talent Acquisition Consultant applies a consultative and strategic approach to lead complex, full-cycle recruiting across multiple business units and geographies, enabling the organization to attract and secure top talent in a competitive labor market. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role serves as a trusted partner to senior hiring managers, translating workforce demand into scalable, data-informed hiring solutions that advance business objectives. The role drives continuous improvement across talent acquisition processes, tools, and candidate experience while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and internal standards. By championing strategic talent pipelines and delivering measurable hiring outcomes, this position directly strengthens organizational capability and employer brand on a global scale.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of complex and senior roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on role scoping, candidate assessment, interview processes, and hiring best practice.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and use strategic sourcing methods to identify hard-to-find candidates.
  • Deliver a consistent and high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work collaboratively with HR partners, business leaders, and external vendors to meet hiring objectives.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and use data to improve hiring outcomes and process efficiency.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with relevant employment laws, policies, and internal standards.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives through inclusive hiring practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help strengthen the employer brand.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to advise senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated capability in proactive sourcing, talent mapping, and pipeline development.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian recruitment practices and employment compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of service and delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using recruitment data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultation skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive hiring practices and candidate experience.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, business, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
