Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Manager, Sustainability Customer Engagement role will provide advanced knowledge and thought leadership for business development initiatives related to Food APAC sustainability. In this role, you will engage key customers on a range of sustainability solution opportunities across the Food APAC portfolio. You will lead customer relationship-building, learn and activate customer sustainability priorities, and translate those learnings into commercialization and partnership opportunities across Food APAC product offerings. You will partner with internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver against Food APAC and customer sustainability priorities and drive business development opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop relationships with Food APAC customer contacts to inform strong understanding of customer ESG objectives, supplier engagement strategies, and internal decision-making processes.
  • Lead development, presentation, and close of sustainability solutions business development opportunities.
  • Provide customer-back insights and coordination support for the development and delivery of existing and new sustainability initiatives for customers.
  • Support demand forecasting for existing and new sustainability solutions.
  • Engage with sales and commercial stakeholders across the organization to lead change and foster partnerships aligned to sustainability strategies and enabling commercial opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in business management, sustainability, or environmental science.
  • Confirmed knowledge of best practices, methodologies and technologies in sustainability and customer engagement.
  • Confirmed experience in cross functional projects and executing business development initiatives with established approaches.
  • Confirmed experience in a sustainability, sales, or commercial role.
