Job Purpose and Impact

As a Senior Freight Sourcing Specialist, you will lead strategic procurement of transportation services, focusing on Global Ocean Container Transportation and European Road Transportation. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage carrier performance to deliver cost savings and service reliability across global supply chains.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for ocean and road freight to optimize cost and service.
• Negotiate rates and contract terms with carriers and logistics providers.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate sourcing data, contracts, and freight rate databases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with business objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in freight sourcing or transportation procurement.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and sourcing tools.
• Knowledge of ocean container and European road transportation markets.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with container industry practices and global trade regulations.
