Senior Capital Project Engineer

This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Capital Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and monitor internal projects from initiation through completion. In this role you will coordinate and direct activities of fixed duration to ensure that the goals or objectives are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in areas such as agriculture, marketing or manufacturing.
- Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports.
- Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
- Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment, and utilities.
- Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of five years of experience in operations or project management with challenging environmental health and safety aspects.
- Experience managing third party resources to deliver business results.
- Knowledge of the company's environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety.
