Senior Associate

Job Purpose and Impact

• The Associate Professional, Tax job prepares routine tax forms and performs basic tax research, analysis, and compliance activities. Under close supervision, this job supports the development of tax solutions and advice and the resolution of legal disputes and audits.

• TAX RETURNS: Prepares assigned, routine tax returns, and assists team with larger, more complex tax returns.
• TAX FORM COMPLETION: Prepares tax forms and related documents associated with tax compliance, including provisions, computations, estimates, and extensions.
• TAX COMPLIANCE & INQUIRY RESPONSES: Partners to support the organization's subsidiaries, joint ventures, and tax department personnel by responding to routine tax inquiries and assisting with tax compliance activities.
• TAX COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES: Supports tax compliance projects, assists with inputting data from tax, financial and compliance systems into various compliance related applications and performs standard tasks related to statutory and or generally accepted accounting principles for tax related items.
• TAX SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT: Assists team members with planning and process improvements, and implementing tax planning ideas, including objectives applicable to corporate and capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, funding, trading and risk management, trade flow and supply chains, using key tax attributes.

• 3-4 years of experience in Tax field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
