This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Purpose and Impact

As a Production Scheduler, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely flow of materials and products within the RFS EOE business, focusing on Izegem (BE) and Château Gontier (FR). You will be responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing detailed production schedules and material requirements to meet operational and customer demands. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Warehouse Teams, and External Suppliers to develop and maintain accurate production and raw material plans. Additionally, you will provide essential support to the Master Planning Team, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the supply chain and production planning processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create, maintain and update the production/packaging schedule for several production locations, multiple production lines based on forecast and customer demand
  • Expedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.
  • Assist in setting master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in supply chain planning
