Operations and Quality Coordinator M/F/D

This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and Impact
Within the France Laboratory, specialized in quality control for animal feed, and reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will hold a versatile position within a team of 13 people.
You will play a central role by carrying out both laboratory technical activities and administrative and organizational coordination duties, with an equal balance between these two aspects of the role.
Key Accountabilities
Laboratory Activity Coordination and Management
- Ensure the receipt, registration, and tracking of sample flows.
- Coordinate subcontracted services, including shipment preparation, analysis follow-up, and integration of results.
- Contribute to the configuration and optimization of the laboratory's IT tools.
- Ensure compliance with analysis turnaround times and manage urgent requests in collaboration with the relevant teams.
Customer Relations and Quality
- Support and advise customers regarding their technical requests.
- Provide responsive support and contribute to customer satisfaction.
- Handle complaints and non-conformities identified upon sample receipt.
- Actively participate in maintaining, monitoring, and continuously improving the laboratory's quality management system.
Technical Support
- Perform the operational duties associated with the Technical Assistant position, ensuring compliance with procedures, quality requirements, and safety rules.
Qualifications
- Scientific education or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of physicochemical analysis is desirable.
- At least 1 year of experience in a chemical analysis laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsiveness and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive mindset and ability to make recommendations and improvements.
- Self-sufficiency and a strong sense of responsibility.
