Mechanical Planner (m/f/d)

Job Purpose and Impact
The Mechanical Planner prepares routine and non-routine maintenance activities. The role involves managing resources and tools to ensure the reliable operation of mechanical systems and equipment.
In this role, you will organize the maintenance and repair of various technical assets and systems.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure that all equipment and systems operate safely and reliably and comply with company standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Introduce, monitor and maintain best practices to improve operational efficiency and enhance reliability.
- Create and adjust maintenance plans based on maintenance strategies and feedback from technicians and external contractors.
- Conduct root cause analysis, plan repair and modification measures, and implement and optimize automation systems where applicable.
- Assess risks related to mechanical maintenance activities and installations, and implement and monitor corresponding safety regulations.
- Manage and execute repair and replacement projects.
- Monitor and supervise technical maintenance activities.
- Support the planning and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies.
- Ensure operational continuity by participating in on-call duty.
- Daily work in the SAP system - maintaining and updating data, checking data accuracy, and continuously identifying opportunities for data improvement.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Technician or Master Craftsman in Mechanical Engineering / Machinery, or a Bachelor's degree in a comparable technical field.
- Relevant professional experience in this field.
- Proven knowledge of applicable regulations, rules and standards in the field of mechanical engineering.
- Fluent German spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise information systems, especially SAP with a focus on the Plant Maintenance module (SAP PM).
- Experience with other maintenance tools for preventive maintenance.
