Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting
Job Purpose and Impact
The Data & Analytics Reporting Supervisor is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of enterprise dashboards that deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role oversees the end-to-end dashboard lifecycle-from requirements gathering and data integration to visualization and user adoption. The Supervisor ensures dashboards are aligned with business goals, technically sound, and user-friendly. In addition to hands-on development, this role includes managerial responsibilities such as guiding a team of BI developers and analysts, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
Dashboard and Report Development
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Ensure visualizations are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with business needs.

- Oversee data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to maintain compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business units to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate insights and reporting outcomes effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and mentor a team of reporting analysts and BI developers.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development.
Project and Program Management
- Oversee reporting initiatives and ensure timely delivery of dashboards and analytics products.
- Establish and maintain reporting cadences and governance frameworks.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data visualization, storytelling, and user experience.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to the organization's data strategy by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities through reporting insights.
- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
Ownership and Stewardship
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned data models.
- Ensure alignment of data models with business requirements and enterprise data standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and metadata for all data models.
Training and Advocacy
- Promote understanding and proper use of data across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to users and stakeholders as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product/ data modeling, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of data governance, requirements gathering, compliance, and .
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data modeling tools and metadata management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design and development of technology products
- Experience in managing teams / people
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Certification in data visualization, governance, reporting or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP, Power BI Data Analyst, CompTIA Data+).
