Maintenance and Reliability Superintendent

Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance and Reliability Superinterndent will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs continually focused on the reliability efforts of all equipment/needs and overall leading the maintenance staffing.
In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards recognized through reliable operations across the region. (#LI-ES2 )
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise the execution of specific equipment maintenance strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.
- Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
- Lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force.
- Partner with regional and global leadership to develop area leading practices.
- Working with maintenance planners to achieve department goals through preventative maintenance metrics
- Oversee the development of the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Experience applying hands-on knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in manufacturing or equivalent environment
- Ability to develop and execute maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Experience in a leadership role supporting associates in a Lean maintenance and reliability environment
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suites and experience with SAP or similar manufacturing data systems
- Continuous Improvement certification / training; Yellow belt certification
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Mechanical, electrical and automation orientated with the ability to solve problems and implement change as needed for further growth and success of the department and overall plant
- Experience with lean, kaizen/six sigma events and driving lean transformation with proven results and in a manufacturing environment (5S, planned maintenance, visual management and kaizen events)
- Experience overseeing third party resources to deliver business results through safe work practices with a strong safety culture
- Knowledge of related tools, processes controls and area technology systems
