Key Account Manager - Food Manufacturing

Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Key Account Manager - Food Manufacturing, will manage and develop a select portfolio of large and complex Customized & Innovation customers for Cargill Food Mexico, building deep customer intimacy and translating customer strategies, needs, and challenges into sustainable and profitable growth opportunities.
In this role, you will own the development and execution of multi-year account strategies and Joint Business Plans, developing a deep and forward-looking understanding of customers' businesses, decision-making processes, stakeholders, pain points, and growth priorities.
You will apply a consultative and value-selling approach to identify and originate medium- and long-term growth opportunities, connect customer needs with Cargill's portfolio and innovation capabilities, and mobilize cross-functional resources to develop differentiated solutions while delivering short-term commercial fundamentals and account performance.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and execute multi-year account strategies and Joint Business Plans to strengthen strategic customer relationships, deliver sales and profitability objectives, and build a sustainable pipeline of medium- and long-term growth opportunities
• Build customer-centered business plans based on deep understanding of each account's strategy, business model, decision-making and buying processes, key stakeholders, pain points, and growth priorities, identifying opportunities and risks for both the customer and Cargill.

• Coordinate use of resource to provide value added services to accounts.
• Develop broad and trusted relationships across relevant customer stakeholders beyond procurement to uncover unmet needs, influence customer decisions and develop differentiated value propositions, innovation opportunities, pricing and service strategies.
• Support supervisor and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market.
• Originate and develop growth and innovation opportunities by connecting customer insights with Cargill's portfolio and capabilities, mobilizing cross-functional resources, and building compelling value propositions and business cases for customers and Cargill.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Advanced proficiency in English both spoken and written is required.
