Indulgence Sales Account Manager

Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Indulgence Sales Account Manager is part of Go-to-Market Europe and holds a customer-facing position to directly conduct business with small to medium sized enterprises in EMEA region. The Account Manager digitally manages sales to maintain and grow the business. In this role, you will help identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improves profitability.
Key Accountabilities
• Align with customer partners to provide quotes, negotiate and sell products, within pricing function guidelines.
• Align with customer partners to forecast, create opportunities and initiate projects
• Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and interact with internal teams on strategy and pricing functions.
• Manage contracts and risk with pricing and trade promotions teams then resolve and coordinate the investigation of claims and disputes.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Fluent German and/or Spanish language
• Excellent English language
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven negotiation and selling skills and experience
• Team player, agile and resilient
• Based in The Netherlands and willing to come to office 3 times per week
• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP, Salesforce, Excel Pivot
• Experience in Food Ingredients (Cocoa & Chocolate, Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizers and Edible oils)
