The FSQR Manager will develop and implement systems to assure customers that products are defect free and safe. In this role, you will work with other departments on root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventative measures to ensure that they are effective. You will work with senior staff to address customer requirements and concerns, as well as lead a collaborative effort on audits.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct verification and maintenance of the food safety and quality systems, hazard analysis and critical control points, sanitation standard operating procedures, prerequisite programs, manufacturing processes, plant environment and finished products.
- Ensure adherence to corporate, regulatory, customer and facility food safety and quality requirements and completion of corrections and corrective actions.
- Lead relevant regional, corporate and regulatory food safety focused audits.
- Act as food safety team leader by coordinating and developing the Food Safety Team and leading all aspects of the quality and food safety management system and management review.
- Investigate and follow up on quality and food safety incidents that occur in the plant to ensure they are reported and that corrective action and permanent corrections are taken.
- Own the relevant change management processes, specifications, labels and product quality reviews.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline or equivalent experience
- Have 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing/processing industry, with 3 years in a clear supervisory or management capacity.
- Other qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct, hands-on experience managing analytical laboratories and shop-floor QA/QC production lines
- Proven experience implementing, maintaining, and auditing GMP and FSSC 22000 food safety systems.
- Familiar with Singapore local regulations and frameworks managed by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
- Possess leadership skills with the ability to drive a quality-first culture and good stakeholder management skill
- Good to have professional background or technical experience working within the cocoa and chocolate processing industry.
