This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Fat Blend Formulation Laborant will organize, structure and handle all samples requests from sales and technical services for our Edible Oils EMEA region. In this role, you will coordinate the sourcing of raw materials and the reporting on the samples request.

This role is for a one year contract on a 60% PT basis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and document the tasks to identify, order and prepare delivery of samples and parcels following standard procedures.
  • Maintain relationships with production site and other locations to ensure stock and replenishment of standard items and raw materials.
  • Maintain inventory management for laboratory supplies and cleaning of lab areas and equipment.
  • Report key performance indicators from the customer sampling activities and present the results.
  • Understand and comply with safety & food safety regulations and other procedural compliance regulations.
  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Communicate with internal customers (Sales & Technical Sales) on availability, prototypes creation, timing and delivery of samples to external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Experience with food safety standard (eg. HACCP) is a plus
  • English & Dutch fluent in writing and speaking
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
