Job Purpose and Impact
The Extrusion SME will oversee technical support for the extrusion area in the plant. In this role, you will lead a production team that optimizes the performance of existing extrusion assets by working with plant teams and effectively collaborating with manufacturing excellence team members and other functions including maintenance.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise monitoring and reporting of the technical performance of (Extrusion) assets and identification of gaps and practical improvement solutions.
- Ensure ongoing implementation of improvement projects, plans, technics, tools and quality standards across sites.
- Lead a team in charge of delivering manufacturing technology expertise to plants, working with local teams, other subject matter experts, and technical support to identify and resolve root causes to emerging issues.
- Oversee a team in charge of risk management of specific manufacturing technologies, understanding safety, process safety, food safety, regulatory and environmental standards, policies and codes.
- Act as a resource for plants on current safety standards, and enhance the future safety of our facilities.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience,
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Certification
- Trained in statistically supported decision making or data analytics along with knowledge of advanced statistical software tools
- Two years of supervisory experience
