European Artisanal Sales Director

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The European Artisanal Sales Director will lead and develop strategy, a new sales team and processes to achieve revenue targets. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and tactical direction, oversee and direct the responsibilities of employees and represent the organization in promoting and selling the company's gourmet chocolate products in the artisanal distributor channel.
Key Accountabilities
- Organize and coordinate sales operations in Europe.
- Evaluate market potential and the status of sales in the area.
- Plan and organize sales projects and activities for Europe.
- Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the strategic marketing team to plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands.
- Develop plans and deliver results, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Experience in the bakery / chocolate artisanal distribution channel
