Customer Service Representative - 2 year contract

Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service Representative supports customer service operations for a single-site team of moderate scale. In this role, you will help optimize and monitor shipping and returns processes, process customer orders (including more complex requests), and resolve order- or delivery-related issues.

The role implies working in a hybrid model with mandatory 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.

This position is offered as a fixed-term contract of 2 years.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain accurate systems and working relationships to support customer demand forecasting and manage shipment- and inventory-related data
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, invoices, contract balances, and other information required to complete sales transactions
  • Execute customer service processes and standards, including monitoring and maintaining order timelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and service commitments, applying a foundational understanding of customer service practices and procedures
  • Resolve routine customer issues independently and escalate more complex matters to appropriate team members or stakeholders
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Completed secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel at a basic level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interacting with customers and resolving service-related issues
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a customer- and business-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Good command of the English language
  • Prior experience in a customer service or related role (e.g., sales support, order management, customer operations)
