As a Portfolio Valuation Analyst - Alternative Investments, you'll play a critical role on our team in supporting our daily valuation process focusing on fair valuation of alternative assets. You will perform in-depth valuation analysis and develop, maintain, and review financial models and methodologies (e.g. discounted cash flow; market approach analyses, etc.) in accordance with all relevant global regulatory and accounting standards. You will analyze and interpret various valuation and liquidity related data and present the analysis and information to senior leaders and oversight committees.

- You have strong knowledge of and a minimum of 3 years' experience in constructing and reviewing financial models and methodologies (discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and other relevant valuation techniques) across private equity, private credit, and other alternative assets.
- You have a strong knowledge of financial markets and have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities; can analyze company financial statements, assess company, industry or market news and its impact on fair value.
- You understand the legal and regulatory environment governing alternative investments, including relevant accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
- You can effectively communicate (verbal and written) complex ideas, processes, and situations to various audiences including, senior business leaders, investment analysts, portfolio managers, and oversight committees.
- You can work in both independent and team settings. You navigate ambiguity and complexity with sound judgment, creating clarity to drive effective outcomes.
- You work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines in a time sensitive environment.
- CPA and/or minimum of CFA level 1 is preferred but not required.

New York Base Salary Range: $113,270-$181,232
Orange County Base Salary Range: $98,869-$158,190
Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $83,376-$133,402
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
