You will serve as a strategic leader within the Investor Development & Early Careers team and as a trusted partner to senior investor leaders and Learning & Development (L&D) counterparts across Capital Group. You'll bring thought leadership and best practices in L&D to a diverse set of learners-from undergraduate interns to our most seasoned analysts and portfolio managers.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Design & Planning
- Develop and implement a long-term learning and development strategy aligned with the full lifecycle of an investor at Capital.
- Assess and evaluate current programs to identify opportunities for evolution and impact across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
- Leverage external best practices and industry trends while aligning with Capital's unique investment philosophy, business model, and organizational priorities.
- Establish measurable outcomes and create feedback loops to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
- Engage investor stakeholders to shape and build the strategic learning vision.
Program Management & Execution
- Lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of high-impact learning initiatives and targeted educational programs.
- Ensure consistency across global initiatives while tailoring content and delivery for local and functional relevance.
- Integrate internal development offerings and external insights to maintain current, relevant, and engaging learning resources.
- Facilitate learning sessions, coaching engagements, and leadership development experiences.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate external programs for alignment and impact.
- Track learning outcomes and key metrics to assess effectiveness, pilot innovations, and refine approaches.

- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Education).
- You have a minimum of 8 years professional experience with at least 5 years of experience in learning and development, and a minimum of 3 years working in an organization known for forward-thinking talent development practices.
- You have proven success in developing and executing L&D strategies, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes.
- You have strong cross-functional leadership with a track record of mentoring and coaching others.
- You have deep expertise in learning design, facilitation, and adult learning methodologies.
- You have experience designing and delivering global learning programs with consistent outcomes across geographies and time zones.
- You have a continuous improvement mindset, are energized by feedback, and possess high standards of excellence.
- You are forward-thinking and tech-savvy; you are excited to embed GenAI and other cutting-edge technologies into learning design and content.
- You are action-oriented and collaborative, able to inspire engagement around a compelling vision.

New York Base Salary Range: $189,603-$322,325
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
