Overview
The Equities and Multi-Asset (EQMA) Investment Product Analyst role sits within the Investment Product Specialist team of Capital Group's Asset Class Services capability. The Investment Product Specialist partners with Investment Directors to deliver deep expertise on Capital Group's investment strategies both internally and externally. Collectively they are the voice of Capital Group's investment strategies. The IPS and ID teams are two sides of the same coin: the ID is focused on being the external voice; and the IPS is focused on internal partners and stakeholders. The Investment Product Specialist team also plays an important role in thinking strategically about the growth and evolution of the Equities and Multi-Asset business, partnering closely with Client and Marketing teams to unlock growth opportunities.
The Investment Product Analyst role supports the delivery of investment expertise across Capital Group's Equities and Multi-Asset platform. The individual will need to be able to quickly develop a deep understanding of Capital Group's EQMA range, investment approach, and an ability to synthesise technical information to enable CG associates to speak credibly to its strengths. In addition, they will partner with the ID team on strategy positioning and to generate investment insights to drive the business and support client engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partners closely with Investment Product Specialists, Investment Directors and the investment teams to provide expertise on Capital Group's Equities and Multi-Asset strategies.
- Helps develop investment narratives to position Capital Group's EQMA strategies as well as creating investment content and materials that support Investment Directors and the investment team in client meetings and other client engagements.
- Analyses the market and competitor landscape to generate insights that inform product messaging and help differentiate Capital Group's EQMA capabilities and solutions.
- Engages client-facing teams on a range of investment-related requests, addressing client queries and coordinating with internal business support teams to deliver timely client outcomes.
- Advocates for Capital Group's EQMA offerings, contributing to overall product strategy, including new product development and rollout initiatives.
- Builds collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across Capital Group's Europe, Asia, and North America through understanding their priorities and demonstrating the value of partnership to achieve shared goals.

- Ideally at least 3 - 4 years within the asset management industry, with exposure to an investment team environment and/or as a product specialist delivering subject-matter expertise and investment insights
- You have a sound understanding of equity markets and a range of equity & multi-asset strategies.
- You are self-motivated and proactive, and demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills, to engage with a variety of internal and external audiences
- You bring a strong commercial mindset to craft positioning messages tailored to target audiences, with a proven ability to drive impactful results.
- You are organised and detail-orientated, committed to delivering accurate investment insights and content in a responsive and timely manner
- You are highly collaborative and are comfortable partnering with multiple teams across time zones to deliver outcomes
- You have experience in interacting with and extracting information from markets data tools and platforms, including LSEG Workspace or Bloomberg as well as Morningstar

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
