- Performs and/or monitors functions necessary to support the investment process by providing operational service to internal and external business partners.
- Prepares daily production work and supporting documentation in a deadline driven and high-volume environment to ensure trades are confirmed and settled with external parties. Utilizes various internal and external systems, reports and sources to ensure records are accurate and timely with review and approval by more senior associates.
- Responsible for post trade processing, foreign exchange funding requirements, collateral management, loans and derivatives activities, new and terminated accounts and funds, and client account changes.

- Analyzes various reports and determines appropriate action to resolve exceptions between internal and external (i.e., custodian bank) systems. Instructs internal and external sources to post or correct transactions via forms or online issue tracking tools.
- Maintains a high level of attention to detail and performs self-review of work and peer review of some periodic/production work.
- Identifies business risk (i.e., applicability of regulatory requirements by investment type), and escalates to more senior associates
- Demonstrates initiative by identifying and communicating issues to reviewers/managers/others.
- Researches and analyzes investment vehicles and client information to resolve issues; communicates findings with appropriate internal and external parties.
- Directly engages the Investment Group, Trading and other IO teams or business groups in trade issues, and assists with the facilitation of The Capital System investment process.
- May prepare draft responses and analyses to adhoc requests for various parties, including auditors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Identifies, and discusses with more senior associates, ideas to implement best practices and process improvements.
- Serves as liaison between internal and external clients (i.e., accountants, consultants, auditors, traders, market vendors, brokers) and outsourcing providers to ensure that questions and issues are addressed, using the appropriate level of confidentiality when necessary.

- You have at least 2 - 5 years of experience in trade settlement and operations within fixed income and derivatives.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of securities and investment operations, and the ability to apply it to work assignments.
- Demonstrates ability to be self-driven to understand how and why things work, the financial industry and/or the connections between processes and technology.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft and other business applications, and ability to apply them to work assignments.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
