Responsibilities:
- As a Valuation Analyst, you'll play a critical role on our team by supporting our daily valuation process focusing on fair valuation and hard to value assets.
- You will perform in-depth valuation analysis and develop, maintain, and review financial models and methodologies (e.g. discounted cash flow; market approach analyses, etc.) in accordance with all relevant global regulatory and accounting standards.
- You will contribute to the organisation of the Management Company's Valuation Committee by producing materials and participating in the meeting.
- You will prepare and manage the valuation input for information and reporting tasks towards: Investors, Directors, Regulators, Brokers, Databases and other stakeholders in respect of alternative investment portfolios;
Requirements:
- You have at least 3 years of proven experience performing valuations on private equity, private credit, and other Level 3 assets.
- You are proficient in creating financial models and methodologies (discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and other relevant valuation techniques) specific to alternative investments across a diverse range of industries.
- You have experience liaising with external valuation agents, administrators, and auditors to ensure consistent, accurate, and independent valuation processes.
- You demonstrate solid knowledge of fund accounting, the IFRS 13 fair value hierarchy, and valuation principles for alternative portfolio instruments.
- You have experience in private credit markets, including assessing borrower creditworthiness and analysing financial statements, cash flow projections, industry trends, and market developments to determine fair value.
- You are familiar with the legal and regulatory environment governing private credit investments, including relevant accounting standards, and reporting requirements (AIFMD, CSSF).
- You can effectively communicate (verbal and written) complex ideas, processes, and situations to various audiences including, senior business leaders, investment analysts, portfolio managers, and oversight committees.
- You can work in ambiguous and highly complex situations, create clarity, demonstrate sound judgement, and drive towards effective outcomes.
- You work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines in a very time sensitive environment.
- Self-starter with an independent work attitude as well as exceptional organisation and coordination skills;
- Active CPA and/or minimum of CFA level 1 is preferred, but not required.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
