"I can succeed as an Administrative Assistant at Capital Group."
Provides comprehensive administrative support to up to four senior leaders, including Business Development Managers and Investment Directors based in Australia. Independently manages a variety of tasks while seeking guidance when necessary. Demonstrates a commitment to expanding knowledge of the asset management industry, Capital Group, EACG and managers' priorities and preferences to better anticipate needs, take full ownership of administrative processes and reduce the administrative workload for managers. Collaborates productively with peers.
Primary responsibilities / essential functions
- Coordinate with relationship managers and client relations associates to schedule meetings for new business pitches, consultant engagements, and client reviews; maintain accurate electronic calendars.
- Proactively manage incoming queries, helping where possible and directing them to the appropriate associate or department promptly and accurately.
- Arrange travel logistics and process expense reports.
- Oversee reports, incoming mail, and maintain organized and up-to-date file records.
- Support report preparation from various applications such as SFDC and Power BI.
- Collate and prepare materials for client/ consultant meetings from the Intranet and the Marketing Database.
- Assist relationship managers in updating the CRM database, ensuring activity and contact notes are accurate and timely.
- Coordinate visitor schedules and internal meetings for the SYO office.
- Drive seamless event execution in partnership with Marketing and manage aspects of conference logistics.
- Collaborate with different teams globally and locally to complete various processes such as Specialist & Investor Client engagement and management of client contracts.
- Offer team support and backup coverage for peer assistants.
- Stay informed on internal administrative policies and proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows and optimize departmental efficiency.
- Participate in project teams or focus groups as needed.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.

- Good academic qualifications combined with a minimum of five years' experience providing secretarial/ administrative support within the financial services industry

- Highly skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experienced with web-based databases.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
