Job Title: Software Engineer II

Location: Cork

Reports to: Software Architect

Job Overview:

In this role, you will work within Cadence's R&D team, developing and maintaining software code written in C++. Your role will be of a technical lead in the team, writing high-quality, high-performance, architecturally-sound software. This is a good opportunity to solve challenging problems in this area, using state of the art technology with professionals all over the globe.

We need experienced software developers to enhance and maintain the platform we use to provide products to our customers. You are expected to be well versed in software programming, independent, and to follow good coding practices. You must have good problem solving and debugging skills. If you see yourself enabling the work that pushes the frontiers of Computer Science and Engineering, this position was made for you!

Job Qualifications:

  • MSc degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in Software Development or a long internship in the domain.
  • Skills in C++
  • Good academic background in micro-electronics
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other teammates.
