RF Principal Application Engineer

The successful candidate will support key RF customers with system analysis tools as well as new business activities in the Central and Midwest US regions. Specific responsibilities will include working with sales to understand customer challenges, performing product demonstrations, and developing solutions. This person will also provide key customer support and training to ensure success.
Note that US Citizenship is required for this role. Depending on location of applicant, ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
Required skills:
- Ability to anticipate technical challenges and develop creative solutions.
- Ability to technically lead on a wide range of customer engagements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

- 5+ years experience in RF communication system design
- Experience with link budget, interference, and signal analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Growth mindset, open to continuous learning and development
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)
- Experience with Cadence AWR Visual System Simulator
- Experience with Virtuoso and Cadence EM and electrical solvers
- Comfortable working in Linux environment
- Project and/or team leadership experience
The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $113,400 to $210,600. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
