Job Title: Quality Engineer I

Location: Bristol UK

Reports to: Senior Principal Software Engineer

Job Overview:

The Bristol and Newcastle teams have been working to integrate Pulsic technologies into Cadence Virtuoso products. The role, based in Bristol, is to assist the Animate team by helping validate the product as we continue the integration work. You will be development and implementing a manual test plan that covers the Animate Integration. You will also learn elements of test automation and assist with the Automated KPI system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Implement and maintain a manual test plan for the Animate integration into Cadence Virtuoso
  • Test Animate's engine on a range of customer and development data
  • Assist in the development of the KPI system
  • Report and Log issues in ticket system

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferably at least 1 Year of experience in a similar role
  • Python or test automation knowledge
  • Degree level qualification

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Version control such as git / perforce knowledge
  • Test automation knowledge
  • Worked in an Agile Environment
