Settlements Consultant (CONTRACT) Hybrid - Flexible Options

Broadridge is Growing. We are seeking a Settlements Consultant to join our team in Newark, New Jersey.

Basic Purpose/Description: Monitor, analyze and process transactions to insure accurate and timely settlement and reconcile clients' accounts vs the settling bank

Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be coming into the Newark office 2 days a week andgiven the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Triparty Allocations/Funding
• Establish shells at BNYM
• Collateralize allocation positions to tri-party as instructed
• Process GSCC and BNY settlements including processing Fed Wires, draw-downs, repayments and endof-day funding
• Working on the client's internal systems to monitor trades, pre-settlement, and settlement date activities.
• Perform general reconciliation activities.
• Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary.
• Research, resolve and reportall discrepancies.
• Keep client apprised of transactional status.
• Follow all procedures maintaining firms stated internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to streamline processes or identify process with exposure.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Fed Settlements experience
• Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience
• A driven individual who is looking for self and process improvement
• A willing learner who is open to new ideas and concepts
• Ability to meet and deliver positive work on strict deadlines
• Ability to strengthen bonds and communicate effectively and clearly with both colleagues and clients
• Self-motivated individual who wants to push themselves towards excellence
• A responsible and reliable person personally and professionally
• ICI, BDC, RTTM, BPS and iMatch experience as a benefit

Hourly range $30-40/hr
