Required Skills & Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in Windows/Linux Server administration and engineering.

Working knowledge of Linux/Unix administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu preferred).

Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025), Active Directory, and related services.

Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC).

Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and cloud platforms

Understanding of security best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Kubernetes and container platforms (Openshift/VKS)

Hands on experience on High availability/Clustering technologies like Windows Server failover cluster, Veritas/PCS

Good understanding of networking protocols including switching technologies, routing fundamentals, firewalls, IP subnets, firewalling, load balancing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments.

Administer Linux/Unix systems including user management, patching, OS upgrades, logging, and service configuration.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC.

Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and related Windows services.

Troubleshoot Linux services (SSH, NFS, Apache/Nginx, cron, syslog) and perform performance tuning using Linux-native tools.

Automate operational tasks and configuration management using scripting (PowerShell, Bash preferred).

Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate Windows and Linux systems into CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues across Windows and Linux platforms, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.

Patch management & vulnerability remediation for both Windows and Linux servers.
