4 days ago New York, NY

At Broadridge, we've built a culture where the highest goal is to empower others to accomplish more. If you're passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.

Broadridge has embarked on a major transformation of its technology platforms to deliver modern global financial solutions across Wealth Management, with a focus on digital enablement, advisor experiences, and integrated tax solutions.

We are seeking a business-minded, technically strong leader with the energy and execution mindset to drive our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and platform resiliency transformation. As the Head of Wealth SRE, you will partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Technology leadership to build and operate highly reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native platforms. You will help design and deliver fault-tolerant, active-active architectures, embed reliability throughout the SDLC, and elevate operational excellence across the Wealth Management Integrated Platform.

The Senior Director, Site Reliability Engineering, is responsible for defining and leading the SRE strategy, ensuring seamless integration of reliability, observability, and incident management practices. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure resilient delivery of platform capabilities while maintaining governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

As an ideal candidate, you will have experience leading large, distributed teams across people, process, and platform, driving enterprise-scale reliability transformation in a regulated environment. You bring strong architectural judgment, a bias for automation, and a relentless focus on measurable reliability outcomes.

SRE Leadership

• Define and implement an SRE strategy aligned with the Wealth Management platform and business goals.

• Drive automation and standardization across monitoring, incident response, capacity management, and operational readiness.

• Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automated environment provisioning on AWS.

• Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and resiliency are built into the SDLC.

• Define and track service reliability targets and performance measures for executive reporting.

• Oversee design and operation of highly available, multi-region AWS architectures.

• Foster a culture of automation-first, data-driven reliability engineering.

Incident, Change & Operational Excellence

• Establish and mature incident response, change management, and operational governance aligned with SRE and ITIL best practices.

• Lead the response to major incidents, ensure clear root-cause analysis, and drive follow-up improvements.

• Partner with Product, Security, and Business stakeholders to minimize risk, downtime, and customer impact.

• Develop reliability dashboards and KPIs (uptime, MTTR, change success rates) for executive visibility.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, AWS Well-Architected).

• Manage audit and compliance activities related to reliability, change, and operational processes.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and platform risks.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 15+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or cloud engineering, preferably in financial services.

• 10+ years of leadership experience in SRE, reliability, or cloud platform engineering.

• Proven experience operating large-scale, multi-region AWS environments.

• Strong background in observability, incident management, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD.

• Expertise with SRE and DevOps tooling (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Datadog).

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $225,000 - $250,000.
