Role Overview

We're seeking a Pre Sales Director for our growing Securities Finance and Collateral Management business as part of the international Solutions Sales Team, based in Singapore.The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to help increase sales of Global Technology and Operations (GTO) products and service offerings across the Broadridge Solution Suite, with a specific focus on Securities Finance and Collateral Management (SFCM).

The Broadridge solution suite covers Front Office Agency andPrincipalTrading, Post Trade (Clearing, Settlement, Position Management), Securities Finance and Collateral Management, Asset Servicing, Data Control solutions (including Reconciliations, Confirmation Matching and Intelligent Automation aligned with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Regulatory Trade and Transaction reporting and SWIFT Payments, designed to help financial organizations address Capital Markets operational challenges.

Pre-Sales Directors serve as consultative solutions and services specialists to Sales Associates, providing functional and business support including assessing customer needs, creating custom presentations and product demonstrations, and supporting the sales process across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand business needs, enhancetheirexperience of Broadridge solutions, andwork closely with Sales Associates in a pre-sales capacity.
  • Providea strong understandingof buy-side and sell-side applications through product demonstrations, technical explanations, documentation, andtrusted guidanceon best practices to establish domain expertise and credibility.
  • Assist the sales team with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), and prepare business analysisdiscoverydocumentation and client-facing presentation materials that highlight thevalue propositionof the software.
  • Prepare business analysis discovery documentation and presentation materials for Product Management teams to communicate client requirements and support solution alignment.
  • Communicate customer and prospect activities to the assigned sales executive, support the identification and qualification of prospective new clients, and create sales support materials that represent the solution offering effectively.
  • Deliver tailored Proofs of Concept (POCs) to meetcustomers'functional and technical requirements, and configure applications for demonstrations, prototyping, proof of concept presentations, and benchmarking.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on product functionality and supporting technology for Sales and Technical Sales teams, while collaborating with Sales, Product, Strategy, Marketing, and other leaders to communicate the value of Broadridge solutions and services.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings, seminars, trade shows, and industry events; conduct ongoing market awareness reviews and provide feedback to the appropriate Business Unit on trends and potential opportunities; andcarry out other duties as needed or assigned.

  • Financial services industry experience, specifically inSecurities Finance & Collateral Management, Repo, and front-office trading and front-to-back capital markets solutions.
  • Awareness of SaaS capabilities and platforms, includingcloud-based environments such as IBM and AWS.
  • Experience working with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Technology teams, with strong collaboration skills incomplex matrixed organizations.
  • Technical abilityto define, configure, and demonstrate solutions;a proactive, self-directed approachto working in a matrix environment; willingness to travel to meet clients and prospects; andtraining will be provided on SFCM-specific capabilities.
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio skills, with the ability to produce effective sales support, business analysis, and presentation materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliverindependent, client-facing, sales-oriented, expertise-driven presentationsin English;Mandarin language capability would be an advantage.
  • Pre-Sales and/or Business Development experience in the financial services technology industry, or relevant industry experience gained within financial institutions inAsia.
  • Demonstrated abilityto initiate, develop, and maintain relationships and represent Broadridge credibly at a senior level, both internally and externally;ability to thrivein a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and work effectively across multiple internal stakeholders.
