Practice Lead, Professional Services (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are seeking a Practice Lead, Professional Services to join our Canada team. In this role you will oversee the development and implementation of business process/technology solutions for clients using company products, outsourced solutions or proprietary tools/techniques. You are viewed by customers as a consultant.

In this role you will be responsible for defining the client needs, developing a proposal to meet those needs, and overseeing the implementation of the complete project solution. You will perform in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity.

-Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines
Interpersonal Skills:
-Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic business development and relationship management within the financial services and/or fintech industry.
• Proven track record of success negotiating and closing complex deals with large financial institutions and enterprise clients.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Deep expertise in financial technology platforms and a thorough understanding of financial services products (e.g., payments, banking, wealth management).
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, and sometimes ambiguous, startup-like environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
