Broadridge's Legal Department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Strategy & Operations Analyst to support the Head of Legal Strategy & Operations in advancing the department's strategic, operational, and governance initiatives. This role will play a key part in supporting the President's Office and Global Sales & Marketing Solutions (GSMS) teams, ensuring alignment across business, legal, and regulatory functions.
The Legal Strategy & Operations Analyst will assist in driving cross-functional coordination, supporting legal operations processes, and contributing to strategic projects that enhance the efficiency, transparency, and impact of Broadridge's global legal function. The position will also provide analytical and operational support in areas such as litigation management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Legal Strategy & Operations with strategy execution, operational planning, and performance tracking across the Legal Department.
- Provide administrative and strategic support for Broadridge's Political Action Committee (PAC) activities, including compliance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist in the coordination and oversight of legal functions supporting the President's Office and GSMS, ensuring alignment between business objectives and legal support.
- Support legal operations projects, including technology implementation, process improvement, metrics reporting, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and legal department metrics; prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Compliance, Corporate Governance, and Risk Management, on cross-functional initiatives.
- Support legal operations functions such as managing litigation tracking, compliance documentation, and governance workflows.
- Assist with legal department budgeting, resource allocation, and outside counsel management analysis.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of operational frameworks to enhance efficiency and standardized practices within the Legal Department.
- Liaise with attorneys and business teams to coordinate responses to requests, audits, and other governance or regulatory matters.
- Assist in the preparation of materials, summaries, and data analytics for Legal Strategy, Executive, and Board-level presentations.
- Perform other strategic, analytical, and administrative tasks as requested to support the Head of Legal Strategy & Operations and the broader Legal Department leadership team.
- Associates degree required Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in legal operations, business operations, corporate strategy, or similar analytical role; experience within a corporate legal department or professional services environment a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in preparing reports and presentations.
- Experience working with legal operations systems and tools (e.g., contract management, matter management, eBilling, and analytics platforms).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with Oracle, Smartsheet, or similar workflow tools a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Background or exposure to financial services, technology, or SaaS industries.
- Experience supporting legal governance, regulatory, or compliance functions.
- Understanding of legal metrics, resource management, and operational reporting.
- Experience in business process optimization, data analysis, or strategic planning.
